Getting to PNG
From Europe you can go through Manila or Singapore then take Air Niugini to Port Moresby most days of the week.
There are also connections via Hong Kong and Guangzhou (three a week each), Tokyo, Honoraria and Nadi (twice a week) and Sydney (four a week).
Or via Brisbane with Air Niugini or Qantas to Port Moresby at least daily on either airline. Air Niugini and Qantas also operate at least one flight a day on the Cairns-Port Moresby route.
From Europe, Qatar often offers the cheapest flights to Port Moresby via Doha, Manila, or Singapore, with the last leg on Air Niugini. In January 2026, tickets started at 1300 euros return.
From the USA, Los Angeles-Brisbane-Port Moresby on Qantas works well.
